Jaskirat Kaur (AKA Jasmine Kang) is due to face trial in October this year over the death of her 10 year old daughter, Shay Kang. The incident dates back earlier this year, to Monday 4th March 2024, when the 10 year old was found dead in a house on Robin Close, Rowley Regis, in the West Midlands.
Two days later, the mother of the girl, Jaskirat Kaur, was charged with murder. Up to now, she has appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court and is due for a further appearance in August 2024. The provisional trial date has been set for October 2024.
So far, Kaur has not entered a plea in court. We will provide updates at the next court appearance.
