On Saturday 30th December 2023, police were called to Hotel Central in Weymouth, Dorset. On arrival, police found Daniel Hrycyszyn, 35, from Weymouth, dead at the scene. So far, Joe Michael Williams, aged 19, also from Weymouth, has been charged with murder.
Williams first appeared at Poole Magistrates Court on Wednesday 3rd January 2024, followed by a further hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court the following day. He was remanded in custody. There was then a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing scheduled at Bournemouth Crown Court on Tuesday, April 9th, however there have been no further updates since then.
