A 14-year-old girl was arrested and charged for a serious assault on a 12-year-old girl involving a knife at Hazlehead Academy in Aberdeen.
The incident occurred around 10:30am today (Thurs, Apr 24th), and police were called to the scene.
The injured 12-year-old girl was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital by her parents and has since been released.
Police Scotland described the incident as “contained” with no risk to the wider school community.
The 14-year-old will be reported to the relevant authorities following the arrest.
