A man has denied three charges at his court appearance today following the death of a woman in Malton, North Yorkshire.
Vincent Morgan, 47, of Castlegate, Malton, is charged with the following in relation to the death of Lisa Welford:
- Causing grievous bodily harm
- Causing actual bodily harm (x2)
- Murder of Lisa Welford
He was not asked to enter a plea in relation to murder, but denied the other charges against him.
Ms Welford, 49, was pulled out of the River Derwent on April 29th and later died in hospital.
Morgan was remanded into custody.
