A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a stabbing in Longsight, Manchester, earlier this evening (Friday 17th May).
Greater Manchester Police were called to Slade Lane at around 6:15pm, and found a man in his 20s with stab wounds to his chest. He is in hospital in a critical condition.
A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody. Enquiries continue.
