Ashley Francis, a 33-year-old sex offender from Ipswich, Suffolk, was sentenced for creating nearly 100 indecent images of children.
Francis, of Foxhall Road, Ipswich appeared before Suffolk Magistrates Court on Monday (14th April) where he received a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.
Francis pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child. The images were categorized into six category A, five category B, and 79 category C images.
The offenses occurred before March 3, 2022. He was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for five years, and Francis must register as a sex offender for seven years.
A Samsung laptop belonging to Francis will be destroyed as part of the sentence.
