A man has been jailed for stalking after causing his victim serious distress.
Kyle Wiggins, 26, of Clapgate Lane, in Ipswich, Suffolk, pleaded not guilty to stalking involving serious alarm and distress.
He was convicted of the offence at Ipswich Crown Court following a five day trial.
The incident relates to a woman who was in a brief relationship with Wiggins in 2017. They have a child together.
Wiggins stalked his victim over six months and had stalked, harassed, gaslighted, intimated, emotionally blackmailed and love-bombed her, according to evidence given in the trial at Ipswich Crown Court.
Sentence:
- 40 months prison
- 10 year restraining order banning contact with the victim and her family
