A 39 year old man is in hospital in a serious but stable condition after being shot in the leg.
The incident took place on Thursday (9 May) at around 9:37pm outside a Go Local store on Scotland Road in the Vauxhall area of Liverpool.
A nearby takeaway worker told the Liverpool Echo he heard three shots before a man shouted, “Someone’s been shot”.
The gunman is reported to have escaped the area in the direction of Woodstock Street, and it is believed the attack was targeted.
