A woman who killed two people in a car crash in Somerset is due to be sentenced in August.
Jessica Higgs, 20, crashed a Mercedes van into a car driven by Tony Mist who was killed, along with his passenger, Thelma Huse, both 69, on the A303 in West Camel, Somerset, in May 2023.
She is to be sentenced at Taunton Crown Court in August this year, following a pre-sentence report.
Higgs pleaded guilty to the following charges:
Causing death by careless driving while under the influence of drugs (x2)
Sentencing Date: Friday 2nd August 2024
