POLICE APPEAL: Man attacked with metal pole in Skegness

A man has been left with life changing injuries after being attacked with a metal pole in Skegness, Lincolnshire, leading to a police appeal.

The incident occurred at around 10:10pm on Wednesday 1st May on Roman Bank, in the town.

The victim is a man in his 30s and he was taken to hospital following the attack.

So far, five men aged 19, 23, 26, 28 and 29 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They have been released on bail while investigations continue.

Dashcam footage is being sought for a number of areas including Roman Bank, Lumley Road and Grand Parade, between 10pm and 11pm, 1 May.
